Shirli Kirschner, Director, and David Bryson are the two senior consultants with Resolve Advisors.We have a team of specialist consultants who provide specific expertise on major projects, and are part of our training faculty.
We also provide panels of dispute resolution practitioners to service projects and industries.
Principal (Sydney):
Shirli Kirschner BA, LLB (UNSW)
Shirli is the principal and founder of Resolve Advisors. She is a Nationally accredited mediator.
Shirli has mediated issues in Australia and Internationally. She was an adviser to the USA Department of Navy on a large commercial dispute and also assisted in building negotiation capacity for them in Okinowa (Japan). She worked as part of an International team in Israel and She is one of 3 Australians on the Singapore panel of mediators for Electricity disputes. She is the Dispute Resolution Adviser for the Wholesale Electricity Market and the Victorian Gas market.
Since 1994 she has had a broad mediation practice covering commerical matters, litgated matters as well as workplace disputes. She has mediated a number of high profile disputes in the Telecommunications industry and commercial partnership disputes as well as a range of matters in litigation ranging from the District to Federal court issues. She has been involved in matters for Local Council, Land Rights issues in NSW, WA and Victoria, most recently with Right People for Country.
Shirli is a visiting lecturer in the Masters of Law at UNSW and sits on the Board of the Shalom Institute at UNSW. She practiced as a Lawyer at Allen Allen Allen & Hemsley in Sydney and then at Gilbert + Tobin before founding Resolve. She held a position on the ADR committee of the Law Society and was formerly a Board member of the Brain Resource Company which provides brain functional analysis.

Senior Consultant, management team (Victoria):
David Bryson BA(hons) DipSocAnth, MLITT (OXON) GradDip Bus (RMIT)
David has post graduate degress from Oxford University and RMIT and was an Adjunct Professor in the Business School at La Trobe University. He has been a Senior Consultant for Resolve since 2000.
David is a specialist in conflict resolution in the context of organisational change and development.
He was the Assistant Commissioner with the Victorian Equal Opportunity Commission and a Manager with WorkCover Conciliation services as well as a founding member of Mediation Association of Victoria.
David has been a member of the Federal Attorney-General's National Dispute Resolution Advisory Council (NADRAC), a senior trainer in mediation for Bond University and a trusted adviser on resolving issues for numerous Institutions including NEMMCO.
